ATTITUDE

Philippians 2:3-5
[Let] nothing [be done] through strife or vainglory; but in lowliness of mind let each esteem other better than themselves.
Look not every man on his own things, but every man also on the things of others.
Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:

Philippians 4:8, 13
Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things [are] honest, whatsoever things [are] just, whatsoever things [are] pure, whatsoever things [are] lovely, whatsoever things [are] of good report; if [there be] any virtue, and if [there be] any praise, think on these things.
I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.

I Thessalonians 5: 16-18
Rejoice evermore.
Pray without ceasing.
In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.

Colossians 3:23-24
And whatsoever ye do, do [it] heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men;
Knowing that of the Lord ye shall receive the reward of the inheritance: for ye serve the Lord Christ.

Attitudes can take the form of good or bad. We are in control of our attitude.
Just a few attitudes to battle against would be the following: argumentation, bitterness, complaining, defiance, disrespect, impatience, indifferent, judgmental, jealous, rebellious, selfish, stubborn, ungrateful, unkind, vindictive, worrisome…..
The fruits of the spirit would sum up the attitudes we should portray as children of God. (Gal 5:22-23)
LOVE, JOY, PEACE, LONGSUFFERING, GENTLENESS, GOODNESS, FAITH, MEEKNESS, TEMPERANCE……

APPRECIATE

Appreciation

Psalms 100: 4
Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, [and] into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, [and] bless his name.

Colossians 3:17
And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, [do] all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him.

I Thessalonians 5:12-19
And we beseech you, brethren, to know them which labour among you, and are over you in the Lord, and admonish you;
And to esteem them very highly in love for their work's sake. [And] be at peace among yourselves.
Now we exhort you, brethren, warn them that are unruly, comfort the feebleminded, support the weak, be patient toward all [men].
See that none render evil for evil unto any [man]; but ever follow that which is good, both among yourselves, and to all [men].
Rejoice evermore.
Pray without ceasing.
In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.
Quench not the Spirit.

APATHY

APATHY

Esau was rather apathetic regarding his birthright, with significant implications.

Genesis 25:34
Then Jacob gave Esau bread and pottage of lentils; and he did eat and drink, and rose up, and went his way; thus Esau despised his birthright.

Galatians 6:9
And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.

Colossians 3:23
And whatsoever ye do, do [it] heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men;

I Corinthians 10:31
Whether therefore ye eat, or drink, or whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of God.
